How to crop an image to merge

Download the original image of the phtoo

Step 1. Load an image/photo of yours, then press "Image Edit" button

You could click "Load" button in the Main Window,  then select an image from the popped up window.

Step 2. Select a smaller valid area, prepare for cropping person out

Select "Rectangle" selection tool in "Select Shape" tool bar.  Move cursor into the image, then press left mouse button, drag a rectangle area, then release left mouse button. We will see a recatangle margin as the following.

Step 3, Crop selected area

Select "Crop" icon in "Operation" tool bar, you will get the following result.

Step 4, Select background area

Fist, we select the "Auto trace" icon in "Select Shape" tool bar, then set "Color Range" to "20",  you can adjust this parameter for other image corp.

Second, move cursor on image, click the right background, it will show the following effect.

Step 5, Continue to select the background area

Obviously, the step4 could not satisfy with our demand, we need to select more background are.

First, we change "Select Mode", please select "+" (add -mode) in "Select Mode" tool bar, then click other background area, you could get the result as the following

Step 6, Let's continue, select all the background area

Step 7, Subtract some area

We could find that some selected area has been in the girl's trousers, we need to subtract it.

First, select "-"(Subtract mode) in "Select Mode" tool bar

Second, select "ellipse" selection tool in "Select Shape"

Third, move cursor to the overplus area, then press left mouse button, drag a little ellipse to overlay the overplus area, then release left mouse button, you will get the result as the following:

Step 8, Invert the selected area for background

Select "Invert" icon in "Operation" tool bar, you will get the following result.

Step 9, Crop the figure out, get a transparent background for the person

Select "Crop" icon in "Operation" tool bar, it will get the following result.

Step 10, Return to Main Window

Click "OK" button to return main window, you could adjust its size.  Now, a great merge has been finished.
